At the end of the betting round the dealer puts a fourth card on the table that everyone can use. This is called the river. After this final betting round the players show their hands and the person with the best poker hand wins.

Poker is a game of strategy and psychology. To be successful at poker you must learn to read your opponents and understand the subtle physical tells that they give off. You should also be able to analyze their betting patterns. If a player is bluffing, he or she will often raise the amount that they bet before revealing their hand. A good poker player is able to make quick decisions based on the information they have about their opponent’s behavior.
